The Princess Royal Trust Sunderland Carers' Centre

Sunderland Carers' Centre offers a confidential advice, information and support service to carers throughout the City of Sunderland (including Houghton-le-Spring, Hetton-le-Hole, Easington Lane and Washington).

A carer is someone who looks after a family member, partner, friend or neighbour who due to illness, disability, frailty or addiction is unable to manage alone.

Sunderland Carers' Centre is an independent voluntary organisation, registered as a charity, and is part of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers Network.

The principal funders of Sunderland Carers' Centre are Sunderland City Council, Sunderland Teaching Primary Care Trust and the Community Foundation.
